'You are biking what they walked.'
-- Emily Johnson

' We wanted to thank you for the tour we took over Labor Day Weekend. It was fabulous. Our guide Rick, was incredibly knowledgeable in telling the story of the Battle(s) of Gettysburg. We were so impressed with not only all the information that he presented but how he wove together all the important people, the events, the positions and timing. We made plenty of stops along the way. As he told the story, we got a pretty good picture of the weaponry of that time and how that affected the strategies of both sides. We are convinced that taking a bike tour is the ONLY way to truly see Gettysburg and remember the battle as it unfolded. Your advice to bring lots of water and snacks were key to our enjoying the tour. Thank you again for a great bike tour.'
-- Leslie, Doylestown, PA

' Just wanted to say thanks again for the wonderful and memorable bike tour that you and Bob facilitated for me, my mom and my nephews!  It was certainly a memorable experience of the battle grounds and truly a learning event for all of us.  [My nephew] was so extremely excited about his hat...you have no idea how much you made his day.  When he saw his dad, he immediately had to show off the hat.  You certainly have a friend for life!!  I will keep your business card handy for anyone interested in visiting the Gettysburg area. Thanks again for a great experience. '
-- Kim McPhillips

'I want to thank you for making our Gettysburg bike tour smooth, easy and enjoyable. It was a pleasure working with you from the first phone call that I made. You found a guide for us when they were all supposed to be off for the day and kept me updated on changes that were occurring with our reservation. You and your staff were attentive, and made everyone feel comfortable throughout the day. I cannot express my gratitude enough for my guests were from Hawaii and Wisconsin and I wanted to make a good impression.'
-- Mary Hall

'My wife and I cycled around the Gettysburg National Park recently. We had a wonderful day. Cycling affords you the means to visit all of the major sites, all the while you can appreciate topography. Add a well informed guide and you have the making of a perfect day on the battlefield. The tour was far beyond our expectations. We have traveled the world and been on more tours than I can say. Gettysbike measures up to the best!'
-- Clem and Cynde

'I just wanted to send along an email telling you what a great time we had in Gettysburg. The boys couldn't stop talking about what a fun and informative time they had on the bike tour. As always, the tour and guide were top notch. It was fun for the boys to ride the bikes around the battlefield and really appreciate the difficult terrain over which the soldiers had to fight. They also mentioned how nice it felt when other children stared at them from their car windows wishing they could be riding as well. In my opinion, there is no better way to tour the battlefield than with a bike. I think many people already realize this as we saw many people on bikes but without guides. Your idea of combining the guide with the bike is really great. In terms of learning, I can see the difference between my sons and children who are forced to sit in cars. It makes the history much more alive and interesting to the children. Thanks so much again and hopefully we'll get to see you next year again. The boys have already asked if we can go back.'
-- Charlie Caliendo Minneapolis, Minnesota

' I had a great time and recommend it to everyone.  The bike tour is the best way to experience the battlefield. Thanks.'
-- Steve Spilman

'I haven't been on a bicycle in over five years and it was a wonderful experience. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. In fact, I think I will. It's the ONLY way to see the battlefield.'
-- Kathy Fisher

'If you don't ride a bike in Gettysburg, you didn't see Gettysburg. Plain and simple.'
-- Brock Aventino, Cherry Hill, NJ

'Biking is a great way to see the area and keeps you closer to the action, so to speak. We got off our bikes to really examine spots much more often than we had gotten out of the car. It also promotes more exploration of the region in general and is a fun way to exercise! Though we didn't take the tour, Gettysbike Tours was a great outfit to work with and they really made sure we had the right bikes and accessories to make it an awesome day.'
-- Kristen and Terry O'Brien

'I'm writing to thank you for the wonderful bike trip we had through Gettysburg! My boys and myself thoroughly enjoyed every minute and have recommended this tour to everyone we've talked to since returning. Great job, hope you have a great summer and to see you again!'
-- Jim, Alex & Max Olenik

'I recently visited Gettysburg for the first time in like 7 years. I didn't appreciate then, but I finally did after I took a tour on a bicycle. It was great. There are a couple places to rent a bike, but the one place we went to was a little outfit called GettysBike. I thought the name was corny, but we checked them out. They actually had licensed guides giving the tours. Our Tour Guide, Bob, was as excited about the history as he was riding the rolling hills of the fields. I brought my 2 kids, and he catered to them, and took us on a very easy tour, but it hit all the highlites. These guys at GettysBike really did their homework finding this guy. I suggest it to anyone willing to take the challenge, and really experience history. PS BRING WATER!!!'

'I was a little apprehensive when my husband and grandson wanted to ride bikes through the battlefield, thinking about my "grandmotherly" bike riding abilities. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the beauty of biking through the battlefield in the lovely breeze. I thoroughly enjoyed our knowledgeable tour guide!'
-- Mary Lippincott, Warrenton, VA

'I have been a teacher for thirty years and this week one of my kids in school mentioned that he had been to Gettysburg this summer. He said they toured by car and it was boring. He said he saw people on bikes and wished his family had done that because those people looked like they were having fun. I told him my husband and I had also been to Gettysburg this summer and rented bikes from you and took your tour. I told him I had not ridden a bike in a long time and had a ball. I had forgotten just how much fun it is to ride a bike. The tour was great. Since I've been back I have read two books about Gettysburg. I have also started to ride my bike again. I have fond memories of a really fun day biking through Gettysburg on a sunny warm day enjoying the breeze, the scenery, the story and the feeling that I was still young enough to enjoy biking.'
-- Harriet Gladstone, Montville, NJ

'I didn't want to exert myself too much that day because I was so hot from walking around town. Good thing my kids nagged me to rent the bicycles, because there is actually a stiff and constant breeze in the open fields and it is just beautiful. Next time we come, we are getting a guide on the bikes.'
-- Sylvia Schuman, Newark, DE

'I never thought learning could be so fun!'
-- Suzanne Simpson, Bloomfield, NJ

'I'd never take a bus tour or ride a car after doing this!'
-- Holly Bantum, Canton, OH

'I wanted to do another bus tour, but my wife complained until I gave in and we did the bike tour. I'm happy I let her win. It was AWESOME!!'
-- Tim Geary, Morristown, NJ

'I feel bad for the people who don't see the battlefield this way.'
-- Angela DeStacy, Arlington, VA

-- C J Cornell, Parsippany, NJ
